There are just TWO DAYS until Aly Michalka’s new series, Hellcats premieres on the CW.

The 21-year-old actress sat down with the Toronto Sun recently about taking on the project, her toned tummy and how she feels about the sport now. Check it:

On being hesitant to look at the script: “I didn’t really know what the (writers had in mind), so I was like, ‘I don’t know, cheerleading, hmmm?’ But I read the script and fell in love with it. Then when I actually filmed it, my respect level (for cheerleading) went up 1,000%. Cheerleading is bad-ass. These people are athletic. These people are trustworthy because they are there to catch you when you’re up in the air, flying.”

On cheerleading being in her blood: “I have no cheerleading background, but my mom happened to be a Raiderette that went to the Super Bowl, and they won, which is rad, and a Rams cheerleader and a UCLA cheerleader. So that’s kind of a cool thing. I’ve never had an interest to be on a squad, probably because there’s no home-schooling cheerleading squads. That might be weird, a home-schooling cheerleading squad. Very small.”

On her amazing abs: “Yeah, but nobody really knew, which is kind of funny. I guess I wouldn’t be walking around with a crop-top all the time.”

Emma Stone becomes the second red head to grace the cover of the September 2010 Issue of ASOS magazine: New York.

Labeled as a “Rising Star” by the mag, the 21-year-old actress opened up to the mag about her New York state of mind, the pressure around her and being Emma. Check it:

On just being Emma: “They’ve (my parents) always understood that I’m a bit of an odd bird.”

On her high standards: “There is an immense amount of pressure, which doesn’t come from anybody but myself. But if you don’t make peace with the not knowing, then you will be miserable.”

On her favorite part of the city that never sleeps: “What do I love about New York? What don’t I love?! It’s a true cultural hub, people from every place on earth have gathered here. You walk to different parts of the city and you feel you’re walking into a different world. Coming from Arizona, where it’s golf courses and spas, it’s interesting to watch such a vibrant, real city.”

The 16-year-old musician opens up to the mag about his ideal leading lady, his tips for fans wanting to say hi, and about his upcoming role on CSI. Check it:

On his first acting role ever: “It seems like I’m this sweet and innocent kid, and then it turns out I’m the mastermind behind everything.”

On what not to do when you want a picture: “No girls are nervous. Just talk to me. Ask me how I’m doing. Introduce yourself instead of yelling, ‘Justin! Justin! Justin! Can I have a picture?’ And don’t come up to me while I’m eating. How would you like it if I came into your house and started taking pictures of you while you were eating? I hate that.”

On who he would want as his leading lady: “Selena Gomez. She’s a good buddy of mine. She’s really nice.”

Angelina Jolie visits a camp set up for people displaced by heavy floods in Mohib Banda near Peshawar, Pakistan, on Tuesday (September 7).

While at the Kandaro II Camp in Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the 35-year-old UNHCR goodwill ambassador shared, “I am very moved by them and I hope that I am able to, today and tomorrow, be able to do something to help bring attention to the situation for all of the people in need in Pakistan.”
