It looks like it is going to rain more before it becomes summer weather, so get a pair of great looking boots to wear for the rest of the rainy season. The rainy season came late in LA, but it is here now. We need the rain.

Good for her, that is like recycling in a way. Who is the guy in the denim jacket? Where is Kanye?

Why I love these? Kim Kardashian is only 5 feet 2 inches tall so for those petite gals, you can buy and wear these without hemming because the inseam is only 28 inches.

J Brand Super Skinny Leather Pants for $896.

Yves Saint Laurent never fails to be on the edge of trends. The designer’s new line of structured bags pairs the comeback of elegant totes, with the current color blocking trends. Also, who doesn’t need a bag with navy rather than black for a change? The colors work perfectly with light, airy summer dresses and shorts while adding effortless grace to your outfit.

The Muse tote may seem small at only 12 inches wide and 9 high, which I may add will definitely hold your iPad, but is has push studs to expand the sides to keep it functional. Additionally it has a zip closure to keep your keys, or your wallet, so you won’t be stuck digging through your bag at the register or on your way to the parking lot. The push studs and zip pocket make the inside of the bag naturally sectioned so you can quickly throw your book or magazine in without having a random bulge pushing into your ribcage.

YSL is great with detail, the combination of structure and gold details is very nautical and adds to the bags appeal. It also makes it easy to pair with any white blouse or dress all summer, giving the perfect clean-cut look. That being said, this bag might be tough to match with the black and brown hues of fall and is pretty much limited to being a spring and summer accessory. The timelessness of the shape and simplicity of color choice makes this YSL bag worth it’s weight in gold even if it won’t match your brown hunter rainboots.

Neon is back and no one does a neon crossbody better than Rebecca Minkoff. Somehow she combines a quilted, Chanel-esque crossbody with her own bright hues and signature tassel. The quilted leather bag has edgy cone studs at the edges and Rebecca Minkoff’s logo plate on the back side. There is also interwoven leather in the link chain strap and a pull zip to close the bag.

The biggest problem I have with crossbodies is that my wallet never fits, but this flirty bag solves that problem by having a small patch compartment on the inside where you can tuck in your credit card and ID.

The bag is perfect to pair with Minkoff’s new line of shoes, or even iPhone cases (let’s be honest- who doesn’t need a new one?). If you don’t want to be too matchy matchy then this bag is brilliant because it goes with everything but doesn’t perfectly match everything. If I were you I would choose the yellow bag over the pink; the pink is just too hard to wear. It’s a great shape but it is much harder to match with summery pastels than yellow is. Even though the yellow leather might seem bright, it pairs well with light summer dresses and can also totally dress up jeans and a tee without you risking looking like you’re trying too hard.

Persian turquoise is the rarest turquoise in the world. They do not mine it anymore and if you can find it – it is usually very limited. Recently I found a gorgeous Persian Turquoise Cabchon gold ring that I just had to share with all of you. It is 14KT gold, set in a oval diamond setting and is the most beautiful robin’s egg blue you can ever imagine. Egyptian Pharoahs use to send their people out to mine the rare stone and it was only allowed to be worn by the royal families.

This ring would be a great addition to anyone’s summer wardrobe whether you wear it with your white linen dresses or shirts or you wear it out in the evening. This pretty stone should be worn and not left in your jewelry box. I wish the earrings where still available, but alas they were sold out.

What I love about Michael Kors? Well, his self-named label makes everything from sportswear to evening gowns to tote bags. His lines are so versatile and wearable that you see them on A-listers and in your office building. His new collection of tote bags for summer manages to be casual and cool while also being classy enough to wear to any poolside party.

Kors’s straw raffia and turquoise leather bag is great for summer. It’s light so it won’t be too bulky even with your iPad, magazines and sunscreen in it. It’s colorful and can brighten any pool dress or swimsuit. As expected, Michael Kors does a great job with detail the gold hardware dresses the bag up from your usual raffia bag but doesn’t overpower or weigh the look down. Best of all, it’s casual- so you don’t have to worry about looking overdressed by the pool. Straw bags were a hit at Coachella and will be a staple at beaches and pools everywhere this summer.

If you need a new beach bag or casual tote then the Michael Kors Santorini Raffia Tote is the way to go. Speaking of beach bags, it even has two drop pockets as well as an inside zip pockets to store your keys and wallet while you’re lounging on the sand. You won’t ever need to throw your keys into a beach bag again and risk losing them while you’re trying to tan.

Does your mom love lilac? I am a mom and I love lilac. I actually would buy both of these pieces for myself for Mother’s Day – Happy Mother’s Day to me. An impeccably-tailored trouser updated in featherweight stretch viscose and cropped just slightly above the ankle. She can wear it all together or as separates. This color is so big this season you may as well snatch it up anytime you see it. Next season the sea of turquoise and lilacs will not be as prevalent. I am getting everything from bags to shoes in this color. I just think it is so pretty for spring.
