2)      Dior Vernis Nail Lacquer- Sheer Light Pink with Iridescent Shimmer- Another color you need from Dior is this light pink. Even though, it might seem too similar to a usual nude shade the shimmer sets it apart in the sun, making it perfect for summer. Grab it at Sephora for only $23.

3)      Butter London- Three Free Nail Lacquer- Opaque Cantaloupe- I love Butter London because not only are the colors brilliant, but it is also a “3 Free Company” which means that it doesn’t contain any of the harsh chemicals that can harm your nails. Their orangey-pink polish is a great shade for this summer. You can buy this at Sephora for $14.

4)  Chanel Le Vernis Nail Lacquer in lemony yellow June
    – Chanel makes chic, and long-lasting polish. This creamy yellow shade, appropriately named June, is light and cute for summer. It’s perfect for someone who uses nail polish as their latest accessory. You can pick this up at Bloomingdales or order it online  for $26.

Fall 2012 Tapiola-­?Kauniainen Collection

The collection tells a strong story from designer Paola Ivana Suhonen`s childhood weekends in the 70`s, spent with family and friends in a country home near Helsinki. “In those beautiful 70′s houses, homes of colorful wallpapers, places with turquoise pools, trays with heavy red candles, bowls of raisins, I spent my childhood weekends under the dark wooden table, listening to my mom and dad being part of those passionate conversations,” passionately describes the designer.

The collection is rooted in two original prints: Tapiola and Kapiola. The names of the prints affectionately reflect and highlight acclaimed areas near Helsinki that have been influential to the aesthetic of the collection. It offers a balance of heavier corduroys, delicate lace pieces, and the brands signature fuzzy cardigans made of handcrafted yarns.

The Ivana Helsinki Fall 12 collection showed at NYFW on February 10th, at the Metropolitan Pavilion.
